Captivating Audiences since 1999
Occasional Words is what happens when two professional speechwriters sit next to each other at a wedding reception. Our company started as a conversation about one best man's 14 minute struggle to say something right; six months later, in July 1999, OccasionalWords.com opened for business.
Since then, Occasional Words has grown to a team of writers with more than 15 years of combined experience writing speeches for executives, academics, and government officials. Between them, the Occasional Words team has written literally hundreds of speeches for nearly every conceivable occasion -- from your boss' retirement party to your daughter's graduation celebration.
Oh, and since 1999, Occasional Words writers have personally given speeches at exactly: 6 weddings 3 anniversary celebrations 3 holiday parties (our own!) 2 christenings 2 bar or bat mitzvahs 1 going away party and 1 family reunion
